Present – Partners: PCSO Hilary O’Callaghan, Rhys Jones (Cowbridge Youth Centre), Bowie (Pulse worker), and Lizz Shaw (CFS learning manager)

Items Discussed
Welcome, introductions and apologies: Pupils and partners introduced themselves. Lizz played the Communities that Care audio CD for pupils Hilary introduced the idea of PACT and Youth PACT, and stressed this was about community issues (not school or personal issues).
Lizz asked the young people to get in to small mixed age groups, each with a ‘partner’ joining them. Lizz asked the groups to discuss what issues there were in their communities, and invited the groups to make notes. The groups nominated a spokesperson to feedback to the whole meeting about what issues were discussed in their groups. Partners commented as necessary.
