schools were invited to join in “all the fun of a small town EUROFEST”.
This gave these pupils the opportunity to practise the French they have learned as part of the school’s primary liaison scheme.
The days’ programme included the Theatre Show, World Cup activities, Pétanque and flag making - all through the medium of French.
Refreshments, which included croissants, pain au chocolat, fruit juice, milk and an extra large Brie, were very kindly donated by Mr M Jenkins, Manager of the Cowbridge TESCO branch.
Both children and staff had a wonderful day and the children left eager to carry on their French studies in September.
On behalf of Cowbridge Comprehensive School, Mr J Ling (Head of the French Department) would like to thank all who were involved. |
