Transition in educational terms means progression to the next stage. Transition from Primary to Secondary school is one of the most significant steps in your life, and one that you may well have mixed feelings about. Some of you will be excited, others may well be very nervous and even scared about the move. The important thing is DON’T WORRY!! We at Cowbridge have spoken to the people who look after you - your parents, your teachers and anyone else who is important to your educational life.
By the time you arrive in September you will hopefully have visited the school several times. You will have met some of your teachers and, many of you will have been placed in a form with friends from your current school and children from other schools in the area. There are 10 primary schools that feed into Cowbridge Comprehensive School.
You will be in a class of about 30 pupils. The classes are:
