During the last ESTYN inspection of Cowbridge Comprehensive in 2007, the school was awarded the top grade in all seven key areas inspected. The inspection team found many areas of the life and work of the school to be “exceptional.” Highlighted for particular praise were the attitudes and achievements of the students, the very high quality of teaching, care and guidance and the range of opportunities provided throughout the school.
