Cowbridge Comprehensive is a highly popular and very successful co-educational state secondary school situated in the market town of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The School serves a large rural area. It has ten established feeder primary schools, from which the majority of pupils at the School have transferred. Approximately 1000 pupils between the ages of 11 and 16 study at the school for their GCSE exams, with more than 300 students in the Sixth Form studying for the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification, AS-Level and A-Level exams. The great majority of our students go on to University, some after a gap year. We usually send several students to Oxbridge colleges annually. The school has a warm spirit with cheerful pupils and happy staff. The governing body is very supportive and we also have an active parents association.
